Bing Webmaster added

As of 6 September 2026, WUWI AI reads real backlink data from Bing Webmaster Tools — the first source feeding the Authority network dimension that costs nothing to connect.

What it actually reads

How many inbound links Bing knows of, which of a site's pages they point at, and the referring pages themselves, sampled from the most-linked pages. It never reports on a site that hasn't been verified in the connected account — including a competitor's — and it never claims to be Google's link graph, because it isn't; it's Bing's own index.

What it lifts, and what it doesn't

Authority network goes from unmeasured to about 65% covered once connected — real inbound links answer part of what that dimension asks, but relevance and spam risk are the other two parts, and Bing scores neither. That's why DataForSEO's paid referring-domain strength and spam scoring exist as the next step up, not a replacement: together they cover the dimension more completely than either alone.

Connecting it takes three steps: sign in to Bing Webmaster Tools, verify the site (importing from an already-verified Search Console property skips the DNS/meta-tag step entirely), then connect — one read-only consent screen.

Why free data comes before paid data, on principle

Every dimension gets its free sources connected and measured before any paid lookup runs against it — Search Console and Business Profile before DataForSEO, and now Bing Webmaster before DataForSEO's referring-domain strength scoring. The reasoning is simple: a business shouldn't pay to learn something a free, official source already tells you. Paid data only gets called in for the parts free sources genuinely can't answer, like spam-risk scoring on inbound links.

What's next for Authority network

Bing Webmaster answers the "how many links, from where" question. The next real gap is relevance — whether those links come from sites actually related to the business's industry, which matters more to how the dimension should ultimately be weighted than raw link count does. That's tracked as an open question, not shipped yet, and this post will be updated rather than replaced once it changes.
